To all competitors & spectators of Simonswood Riding Club.

We unfortunately have had a complaint from the show ground about the main gate being left open. The gate is shut for a safety reason for both SRC competitors and Asmall Livery Yard. There is a big sign on the gate asking everyone to shut it behind, so there is no excuse for it being left open.

Please shut the gate behind you.

Thank you

Simonswood Riding Club was formed in the 90's by Liz Oldham, she wanted to form a club where anyone could bring their horse or pony and compete in various classes at all levels, just a fun day out for all the family and that is what we have continued to do.
Although the club has now gone on to hold qualifiers for Ponies UK, N.C.P.A, The Festival of Champions, UK Showing to name a few we have still kept that friendly atmosphere that people wanted. We cater for children and adults alike from the most beginner to the advanced competitor, we run 5 rings throughout the show including Ridden Showing, Equitation, Inhand, Working Hunter and Jumping and have plenty Fun classes too.
Over the years we have seen some of our competitors go
from nervous beginners to competing at H.O.Y.S / Olympia and Ponies UK with great success.
As a club we are very proud of the members who successfully compete as a team not only for their results but their manners, attitude and dedication when they are competing elsewhere, they are a credit to the club.
New members and non-members are always made welcome at the club which seems to be going from strength to strength.
If you want a brilliant day out in a relaxed atmosphere then give Simonswood a try you definately won't be disappointed.

Pony of the month - September

 Jazz & Amy Gillespie

plans for this year are to try and win the 95cm, 1.05m and 1.10m trophies :) It's looking like they will as they have been 1st in 11 out of 12 classes.
