Simonswood shows are held on the fourth Sunday of each month, from April-September. We have lots of different shows to qualify for, from Puk, Equifest, FOC or Northwest Jumping.

Simonswood Riding Club was formed in the 90's by Liz Oldham, she wanted to form a club where anyone could bring their horse or pony and compete in various classes at all levels, just a fun day out for all the family and that is what we have continued to do.
Although the club has now gone on to hold qualifiers for Ponies UK, N.C.P.A, The Festival of Champions, UK Showing to name a few we have still kept that friendly atmosphere that people wanted. We cater for children and adults alike from the most beginner to the advanced competitor, we run 5 rings throughout the show including Ridden Showing, Equitation, Inhand, Working Hunter and Jumping and have plenty Fun classes too.
Over the years we have seen some of our competitors go
from nervous beginners to competing at H.O.Y.S / Olympia and Ponies UK with great success.
As a club we are very proud of the members who successfully compete as a team not only for their results but their manners, attitude and dedication when they are competing elsewhere, they are a credit to the club.
New members and non-members are always made welcome at the club which seems to be going from strength to strength.
If you want a brilliant day out in a relaxed atmosphere then give Simonswood a try you definately won't be disappointed.

Lauren Byrne with Lidgett Sundream

Lauren Byrne with 3 year old Lidgett Sundream winning overall points winners 2007.

Lauren has sucessfully competed at Simonswood throughout a number of years. They also won and went champion qualifying for Ponies UK in the Glyn Greenwood 2+3year old class. After competing at PUK the pair are having a well eanred rest to prepare for coming out under saddle in 2009. We would like to wish them good luck for the future.
