Simonswood Riding Club rules

1. The judges decision is final.

2. All Stallions and 2/3 year old colts must be shown in a suitable bit & bridle, licened and insured. Stallions/Colts may not be LED by any juniors who have not attained their 14^th birthday before January 1^st in the current year.

3. In Equitation points are awarded on the rider.

4. Competitors may only gain points with the same combination of horse/pony and handler/rider.

5. Excessive use of whips or spurs is forbidden.

6. There is to be NO CANTERING on the showground except in the collecting ring and while being judged.

7. Any objections to the points must be made at the end of each show. Points book available in the office.

8. It is the competitor and spectators responsibility to ensure all valuables are locked away and secure. SRC nor the comittee will be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft when on the showground.

9. Anyone seen damaging property ie: - fencing, gates, water pipes will be responsible for their repair.

10. Anyone who has an objection MUST lodge their complaint within 15 minutes of the incident ( £10.00 fee )

11. A fall of rider means immediate retirement.

12. A competitor who abuses a judge will be asked to leave the showground and will forfeit all points won that day.

13. All trophies must be returned by the August show, no exceptions will be allowed. If the competitior not returning the trophy has won in the current year 10 points will be deducted from each class they are placed in and will also be billed for a replacement.

14. Entry fees for qualifiers must be paid to the club at the time of entering, a minimum of 3 weeks before the event.
